Hello World and Hello Spring!!!
My name is Kaitlin and I am a twenty-something girl living in downtown Toronto, Canada. I am a plant-based, whole foods, ‘nutritarian’ enthusiast. Throughout my lifelong exploration of plant-based diets, I have found that the best tasting foods are always a combination of Mother Nature’s gifts to us in their purest forms. There is so much colourful variation for us to enjoy which ultimately leads us to optimal immunity and life-long health. Let’s face it folks: Nature is Sexy!!
My goal with this blog is to create recipes and adapt recipes to make them as healthful and delicious as possible. My nutritional science guru is Dr. Joel Fuhrman and his “Eat to Live” philosophy. I’m talking about plant-based, nutrient-rich, minimally processed, immunity supporting, kicking disease in the a$$, pure, simple and beautiful foods. He will be my spiritual guide during this nutritional journey and I will often reference quotes or information from one of his many books!
So!! To kick this off:
